The Illinois Certified Professional Florist program consists of eight on-line courses and five hands-on classes. All thirteen courses and the assessments must be successfully completed to attain membership as an Illinois Certified Professional Florist.
The ICPF course allows ISFA members the flexibility and freedom to excel at their own pace based on their personal needs. At the end of each course, an exam will be available. You will be allowed two attempts at the exam for that course. In order to achieve a certificate of completion for the entire program, the member must have received a test score of at least 85 on each course exam. The entire program must be completed within two years.
The first step to becoming certified is to provide your name, address, e-mail and pay the one time registration fee of $50. After you register, you will be contacted by the program coordinator with your password so you can choose your ICPF on-line class. CLICK TO REGISTER

The Illinois State Florists’ Association (ISFA) reserves the right to cancel an event (or partial event) due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
If ISFA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, ISFA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
Transfer Policy: ISFA members may transfer the financial value of their registration to a co-worker for no charge if written notification (to firstname.lastname@example.org) is given 30 business days before the event – unless specifically stated on registration materials. After that point, the transfer service fee is $25. Companies who are not members of ISFA can transfer their registration at any point for a $25 service fee.

-attend six annual board meetings which are held in Springfield, Illinois,
-sit on various committees
-participate in the Annual Design Floral Show during the third weekend of March at Decatur, Illinois Conference Center
How long is a ISFA Board Term of Commitment?
Your term on the Board normally requires a three year commitment.
